You need a computer and internet access to do just about everything these days. Whether it’s in shelters, permanent housing, or schools, our team goes where we’re needed to offer hands-on digital skills training. We offer drop-in technology support as well as more structured classes on a wide variety of topics.
We believe in giving young people the tools to succeed in tech. As a community partner of Girls Who Code, we’re excited to launch Olympia’s first chapter in the 2024-2025 school year. Before that, we helped found the coding club at Black Hills High School, where we created lessons, taught classes, and connected students with experienced software professionals.
Access to the internet is a basic human right and essential for daily life. It helps people find jobs, connect with services, and participate in education. We’re committed to expanding free, public internet access in our communities. We also upgrade Wi-Fi and install computers in local shelters, making sure everyone has the chance to get back on their feet and stay connected.
We help people exploring or transitioning into tech careers by connecting them with experienced professionals in fields like software, cybersecurity, and I.T. Through hands-on projects, we give mentees a chance to build their portfolios, work in a live system, and grow their networks, setting them up for success in the tech industry.
At Triceratops, we take care of the tech so nonprofits can focus on their mission. From data management to I.T. support, we handle whatever they need. We know nonprofits face enough challenges, and technology shouldn’t be one of them. Best of all, we offer many of our services for free or at a very low cost.
